Register your team

Register separately on ICPC Global for each selected regional site. Your coach registers the team, and each contestant completes their profile.

Complete the payment

Pay the preliminary fee separately to every regional site selected and fill the form provided by the regional site.

Submit one undertaking

Submit one undertaking per team through indiaicpc.in. If registered for two sites, include both site-specific ICPC Global Team IDs in the same submission.

Participate in the common ICPC India Preliminary Online Round on 3 October 2026.

After completing registration and fee payment for the selected regional site(s), every team must submit one signed undertaking for the ICPC India Preliminary Round.

Submit the undertaking only once per team—even if the team is registered for two regional sites. Include the site-specific ICPC Global Team ID for every regional site selected in the same submission.

Do not submit a separate undertaking for each regional site.

Who can form a team?

A team consists of three eligible student contestants and one coach from the same institution. Students may be from any eligible academic branch. Check the official ICPC regional eligibility rules before registering.

Is there one preliminary contest for all four regionals?

Yes. The ICPC India Preliminary Online Round is the common qualifier for Amritapuri, Chennai, Kanpur and Mathura. Each regional independently selects eligible teams registered for that site.

Can we register for more than one regional?

A team may register for at most two regional sites. Complete the registration and preliminary fee payment separately for each chosen regional. Taking the common preliminary contest does not automatically register you at every site.

Must the team be the same at both regionals?

Yes. You must register with the same team at both regionals: the same three contestants and the same coach. A participant cannot represent different teams at different regionals.

Should we submit an undertaking separately for each regional site?

No. Each team must submit the undertaking only once through indiaicpc.in. If the team is registered for two regional sites, enter both site-specific ICPC Global Team IDs in the same submission. Do not submit the form again for the second site.

Is a regional the same as an onsite centre?

A regional is a separate contest site with its own registration and selection. An onsite centre is a venue within that regional. Kanpur has three announced centres; Amritapuri has four. Always follow your regional’s centre-allocation instructions.

What are the fees?

The announced preliminary fee is ₹1,500 per team for Indian teams, payable separately to each regional you register for. Selected teams may pay an additional onsite fee. Use the regional website for current payment instructions and confirmation.

Where will contest instructions and results appear?

Check your regional’s website and the messages sent to your coach for contest instructions, selection results and onsite confirmation.
